1. Overview & Acceptance
This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Dallas Signing Services ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") and you ("User", "you", or "your"). This Agreement governs your use of the website located at https://www.dallassigningservices.com (the "Site") and the notary services provided through the Site (the "Services").
By using the Site or booking a Service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.
2. Eligibility
By using this Site and our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a legally binding contract.
3. Services & Notary Disclosure
The Company provides remote online notarization services in accordance with the Texas Government Code.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Company is not a law firm, and its employees and notaries are not attorneys. We do not provide legal advice, nor do we accept fees for legal advice. We recommend you consult with an attorney for any legal questions regarding your documents.
4. User Conduct & Responsibilities
By using our Site and Services, you agree to:
-Provide true, accurate, and complete information during the booking and notarization process.
-Have a valid, government-issued photo ID ready for the virtual session.
-Ensure you are in a quiet, private space for the video conference.
-Not use the Services for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
5. Appointments, Fees & Cancellations
-Fees: All fees are posted on our Site and agreed to at the time of booking. We charge a standard statutory fee plus any applicable convenience fees.
-Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a $25 fee. "No-shows" are subject to a $35 fee.
6. Recording & Electronic Record
You acknowledge and consent that, as required by Texas law, the entire online notarization session will be recorded (audio and video). This recording will be retained and used as required by law and for quality assurance.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dallas Signing Services and its notaries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Services, including but not limited to errors in documents or technical issues outside of our reasonable control.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
9. Changes to this Agreement
We reserve the right to update this Agreement at any time. We will post the updated version on this page, and the changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
